Several Elon Music and Performing Arts students competed at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition this past weekend and received top honors.

Nelson Ysabel and Jordan Ballantyne, graduate candidates in the M.A. in Higher Education Program, were recently honored with Outstanding Graduate Student Awards by the American College Personnel Association.

Hannah Valente L’22 is now one of the youngest people in the United States certified by the National Basketball Players Association to represent its members.

Elon University’s Sport Management Department will host its annual symposium on Wednesday, April 20, featuring a keynote conversation and two expert-led panel discussions. The in-person event will address the “Changing Dynamics in Sports Media.”

Campus Compact has named Lockwood a recipient of a Newman Civic Fellowship, which recognizes and supports community-oriented students and is named for Frank Newman, a founder of Campus Compact.

The annual Design Forge will last from April 7 through April 9 with a series of discussion and events featuring Elon faculty and design thinking professionals from around the world.
