Pawlus, who serves in the top staff post of the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association, addressed the history of LGBTQ news coverage, intersectionality in newsrooms, and how the organization can support student journalists.

Although the number of visitors to Belk Library has declined significantly since the introduction of COVID-19 safety protocols, library staff have recorded an increase in interactions with Elon students, faculty and staff.

Campus Compact has named Anna Gillespie '24 a recipient of a Newman Civic Fellowship, which recognizes and supports community-oriented students and is named for Frank Newman, a founder of Campus Compact.
