This year the FLEX Program offered academically gifted students from the Alamance Burlington School System the opportunity to learn fresh, engaging lessons virtually from M.Ed. and gifted licensure candidates.

For the past 10 weeks, graduate students in Elon’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Education and Physician Assistant studies programs have been attending in-person classes at the school, donning masks and employing new cleaning measures.

The communication design major is the School of Communications’ seventh LAGRANT scholar in the last four years.

This summer, the university’s innovative E Company program leveraged the time and talents of Elon students to meet the needs of local K-12 students as well as to assist with preparations for fall semester.

The Office of Residence Life has put in place a number of new measures designed to promote cleanliness, physical distancing and cooperating in residence halls this fall.

Elon is among 31 schools who have been asked to participate in the initiative after demonstrating a commitment to advancing the outcomes of first-generation students.

Members of the campus community are asked to use the tool daily as a way to track their health and determine their level of risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. The tool does not gather any personal information.

Elon Dining has created new protocols and reimagined serving stations this summer to support health and safety at all dining locations.

Jess Avellino '20 worked closely with her long-time mentor, Associate Professor of Music Todd Coleman, to write and record the musical 'Dark Heart,' her senior capstone project.
