Students from Walter M. Williams High School were invited to come to the station and learn about college radio as part of a new community outreach program.

Seventeen undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Education were inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education that promotes the highest ideals of the teaching profession, on April 18, 2019.

The strategic communications major wrote an April 15 article titled “March For Our Lives activism spreads to Times Square” highlighting the movement’s use of billboards in the world-famous commercial intersection and tourist destination in New York City.

The event hosted by the South Asia Research Group will provide students, faculty and staff an opportunity to discuss the research process over a selection of Indian food.

Elon University, a Campus Consortium partner of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, hosted an April 11 community lecture featuring photojournalist Allison Shelley.

A film by School of Communications students Sophia Ortiz ’21 and Riley Bradford ’21 captured first place in the 2019 RiverRun International Film Festival’s Documentary Pitch Fest, a student competition judged by industry experts.

School of Communications students Alex Mancuso ’19, Hannah Garfield ’19 and Jared Mayerson ’20 screened their film “Knock Knock” on April 12 at the Visions Film Festival in Wilmington.
