Sponsored by the Gender and LGBTQIA Center, the Lavender Graduation & Awards Dinner 2018 was an opportunity to honor outstanding students. 

During the three-day NFL draft held April 26-28, Carrigan Bain ’19 served as an intern for the Washington Redskins, working with the franchise’s communications department to promote the team’s recently acquired players.

The Chandler Family Professional Sales Center recognized the finance major and professional sales minor with the Earl D. Honeycutt, Jr. Sales Leadership Award.

The event invited sophomore business students to jumpstart their career development.

Alicia Paul has been active in her volunteering endeavors while at Elon and hopes to continue them upon graduating this year.

The April 30 event included a keynote address from Tyler Key, general manager of IMG College, three panel discussions featuring more than a dozen industry professionals, and a network reception.

Elon students who have participated in study abroad programs attended the Diversity Abroad Conference and Global Student Leadership with members of Elon faculty.

Heather Lindenman’s Writing: Argument and Inquiry class developed reports, infographics, and other written materials to support the Alamance County Stepping Up Initiative.

Tim Norvell, assistant professor of marketing, divides his class into three groups that give back to the community and grow student's skills through consulting services and marketing research. 

The town is developing a new comprehensive master plan for parks and recreation and is seeking feedback from the Elon University community.
