Student Experience

An annual awards program held April 26 recognized the academic success and service of those involved with the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. 

Students in this interdisciplinary cohort will pursue academic coursework, undertake faculty-mentored undergraduate research projects, and participate in community engagement partnerships with local religious communities during their junior and senior years.

Gabrielle Beamon ’19, Ozelle Bower ’19, Anissa Cooper ’19 and Janay Tyson ’19 are among the 60 undergraduate students nationwide to receive highly selective scholarships provided by The LAGRANT Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes diversity in the fields of advertising, graphic design, marketing and public relations.

Outstanding Elon students, along with distinguished faculty and staff were recognized for their achievements and contributions to Elon on April 28.

Students of all years and majors are encouraged to submit their individual or group projects to the Database.

The Maker Hub-hosted event allowed University members to gather and admire 25 projects from students, faculty and staff.

An exercise science major explores the effectiveness of applying grief-response models to student-athletes who are injured. 

Sixteen communications faculty and staff members attended the 2018 Broadcast Education Association conference and Festival of Media Arts, where students accepted three top awards and led the video documentation of the Las Vegas event's research symposium.

Cinelon Productions will host its annual showcase on Thursday, May 3, in Turner Theatre. The festival begins with a red-carpet event at 6 p.m., followed by film screenings at 7 p.m.
