The week of April 23 through 28, Elon students, faculty and staff will be involved in activities to mark CELEBRATE! 2018, a celebration of student achievements. 

The university's top award comes with $20,000 to support and celebrate academic and creative achievements. 

School supplies will be collected on campus through April 27. 

An Elon senior, an alumnus and a current staff member have each been selected for the NSF's Graduate Research Fellowship program, which will support their work toward graduate degrees in STEM fields. 

Twenty-three undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Education on April 19, 2018, were inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education that promotes the highest ideals of the teaching profession.

The Women's Law Association recognized Manisha Patel L'11 and Karen McKeithen Schaede at its annual Professionalism Dinner on April 18, 2018, an evening that included a judges panel featuring women who serve on North Carolina's Court of Appeals and with the state's superior and district courts.

The eighth annual gratitude event, held April 17, celebrated the impact of philanthropy on Elon’s campus.

While attending the 2018 Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, students in the School of Communications’ documentary production program enjoyed films from around the world, observed filmmaker events and panels, and met award-winning documentarians. The students will screen their own works on campus at the elondocs Documentary Showcase on Tuesday, April 24.

Elon, which in February was named a top producer of Peace Corps volunteers, this week recognized five students who will be joining the government-sponsored service organization after graduation.
