Student Experience

Thirteen Elon students traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, March 2-4 for the Southeastern Commission for the Study of Religion (SECSOR), the annual regional meeting of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature.  Six of the students presented undergraduate research mentored by professors from the Department of Religious Studies, while the other seven observed in preparation for presenting in the future.

The networking event brought together more than 85 students with recruiters from a variety of organizations.

Through a staged reading, Department of Performing Arts students participated in the creation of a new play.

Students interested in learning more about the Nonprofit Leadership Community of Professional Practice are invited to attend the Fall 2018 General Information Session on Tuesday, March 27 from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. in Lindner 210.

The Women's Resource Center of Alamance County is looking for volunteers for their annual Herb Festival. There are multiple shifts available on April 25-28 throughout the day. Email Kim Jernigan with any questions or to sign up. 

The Performing Arts Department presents Echoes, the spring dance concert, with performances March 9-11.

The students join a global community of Fellows charged with increasing campus engagement with innovation, entrepreneurship, design thinking and creativity.

Hosted by the London Alumni Chapter, a panel of alumni discussed professional development and life living abroad.

The 5,100-seat, 160,000-square-foot facility will provide a premier gathering space for major campus events and serve as the new home for Elon's basketball and volleyball programs when it opens this year.
