The North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys recognized Katherine Bordwine L’18 with an annual award named in honor of retired North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Sarah Parker.

The Colonial Athletic Association honors one scholar-athlete in each of its 21 championship sports. 

Monday's gathering on Scott Plaza in front of the Alamance Building offered an opportunity to welcome new and returning members of the Elon Academy, the university's college access and success program for local high school students.  

Elon University has released its President's List and Dean's List academic recognitions for the 2017 spring semester.

Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy program was represented well at the American College of Sports Medicine 2017 Conference in Denver, CO. Haley Hawkins, a 2nd year DPT student also won a travel scholarship at the Conference.

Three days after graduation in May, Music Theatre alumnus JJ Niemann ’17 found out that he would be joining the Broadway cast of ‘The Book of Mormon.’

Doctor of Physical Therapy Education faculty Janet M. Cope and Mary Kay Hannah and Physician Assistant student Mackenzie Precht along with Physical Therapy students Amy Klinepeter and Brooke Powell recently published a manuscript about the use of human donors in PT anatomy education in the Journal of Physical Therapy Education. 

A new cohort of students begins the Master of Education program this summer, representing 11 North Carolina school districts, two out-of-state districts and five other countries.

 

​Doctor of Physical Therapy Education faculty Mary Kay Hannah and Janet M. Cope and students Alec Palermo, Walker Smith and Val Wacker published a manuscript related to dry needling of the lumbar multifidus in Manual Therapy.
