More than 750 members of the Class of 2017 made a gift to Elon as part of this year's senior class giving campaign, raising more than $36,000 for Elon's Greatest Needs and other areas of interest.

Grace W. Ueng, founder and CEO of Savvy Growth, encouraged students receiving master’s degrees in business administration and management to endure through life’s challenges during her Commencement address May 19 in Whitley Auditorium.

On the eve of Commencement, students in the Class of May 2017 and their families gathered in the Elon Law library to recognize outstanding academic performance, pro bono work, and service to the law school. 

Nosipho Shangase '17, who graduated from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, has become an accomplished public health scholar at Elon and will pursue her doctorate in the field. 

Communications faculty and staff celebrated this year’s seniors and their families with a May 19 reception in Snow Family Grand Atrium.

The international business students will graduate with one degree from Elon and one degree from a European partner institution.

The annual award is presented to the most outstanding graduating Elon MBA student.

The trio of students participated in Elon's ROTC programs, which are offered in collaboration with N.C. A&T State University. 

As part of the culturally rich ceremony, students received a handmade kente cloth that represents the culture, spirituality, sophistication and tradition of their African ancestors.
