Lillian Engel ’19 and Azzurra Catucci ’18 received $15,000 to produce a 35-second film that illustrates the emotions of the moviegoing experience.

Elon's vice president for student life and dean of students is being recognized by North Carolina Campus Compact for his efforts to create a vision of service, support the engagement of faculty and students and form innovative campus-community partnerships.

Representatives of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) will be speaking Thursday, Feb. 16 from 7:30 to 9pm in Oaks Commons 212.  Event hosted by Beta Theta Pi.

Chimi Boyd-Keyes will host the workshop, “Everything Matters: Considerations for Serving African-American Survivors," at Elon on Feb. 14

Led by Associate Professor Julie Lellis, nine students in the “Mindful America, Mindful Elon” course traveled to Massachusetts during Winter Term to study how mindfulness is practiced and then bring those experiences back to campus.

During a three-week Winter Term course, titled “Business of Baseball and Tourism in the Dominican Republic,” two dozen students examined issues relating to neo-colonialism and globalization while traveling in the Caribbean nation.

All three locations of the Writing Center have opened for the Spring Semester.

The program will launch at College Coffee with partner Zagster.

Recognizing the valuable assets that underrepresented identities bring to careers is both important and empowering. This recognition is especially powerful when listening to experiences through the sharing of candid personal stories. Authentic storytelling can lead us to increased self-discovery while reassuring us that we're not alone on our journeys toward personal and professional growth.

The Spring Organization Fair will be held on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Moseley Student Center.
