The Student Professional Development Center and faculty mentors were resources for Heather Harder '14 as she sought professional internships, one of which led to a job offer prior to finishing her degree program.

Six Elon University students participated in the March conference’s student competition, analyzing and presenting a real baseball operations decision: trading a certain Philadelphia Phillies left-hander for maximum return. The students will discuss their Arizona presentation on Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Koury Business Center, room 208.

The fifth annual event offers Elon students, faculty and staff an opportunity to thank donors for their ongoing support of university programs and experiences.

Mary Rouse, a political science major from Charlotte, North Carolina, will study strategic narratives next year at Royal Holloway, University of London, as she works toward a graduate degree in media, power and public affairs.

Christine Fortner, an elementary education major from Virginia, travels to Southeast Asia after graduation to help others learn English as part of a federal program that builds good will between the United States and people of other nations.

Elon University senior Taylor Davis traveled to Boston in March 2015 to present her research at a national biochemistry conference. The Honors Fellow received a student travel award and was recognized in the undergraduate poster competition.
