Anyone from the community is welcome to borrow and return books - no library card required - from a renovated newspaper newstand in the heart of Elon University's campus.

The first-year summer experience program offered by the Office of New Student and Transition Programs familiarizes incoming students with Elon's campus and helps them develop outdoor and team-building skills before classes begin in the fall.

Belk Library's hours will be modified due to the 4th of July holiday.

A team of students, faculty, and alumni from Elon University's School of Communications spent a week in June in Ekaterinburg, Russia, covering the 2014 International Collegiate Programming Contest in video, photo, social media and text. 

This June, the National Science Foundation hosted its national meeting for institutions supported by its program to recruit and develop of STEM teachers.

230 Phoenix athletes made the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll, placing Elon first among league schools for 2013-14.
