The school hosted its annual awards ceremony May 6 to honor high achievement from faculty and students in the last year.

On April 15, 234 girls were kidnapped from their school in Chibok, Nigeria, by the terrorist group Boko Haram. The Elon African Society is having a day of awareness on Tuesday, May 13, to allow students to learn more about this atrocity and voice their support for the #bringbackourgirls movement. 

Senior Jessica Zelenack has been selected to participate in the Atlantic Music Festival from July 7-Aug. 3.

The Sales Education Foundation has honored the sales program in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, a distinction that helps attract national  companies to campus to recruit Elon University students into prime sales jobs.

The National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society inducted 17 new members at a ceremony on May 5th.

Through the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement, dozens of students, faculty and staff spent a week away from campus this semester exploring social issues, immersing themselves in local and global communities, and participating in service.

Families from surrounding communities visited Elon on May 3, 2014, for an inaugural celebration of the humanities and natural sciences that featured music, dance, exhibitions and hands-on activities for children of all ages.
