Elon alumni shared insights from their broad range of experiences during the session.

James Williams L’24 is the first Elon Law student ever elected to the national board of directors for an influential organization that promotes the educational, professional, political, and social goals of Black law students.

The Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education hosted a lively kickoff event for Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month on Wednesday, April 3.

The team was recognized in the Best Presentation category at SAE Carolina Student Night hosted by Kendrick Motorsports.

The Elon alumna wrote and directed “Incomplete” for her cinema & television arts BFA thesis project, and the film won Best Student Short at the monthly festival in Los Angeles.

Max Wallace ’26, Brendan Antrosiglio ’23, and a student group in the Interactive Media graduate program all earned second-place awards in the Broadcast Education Association’s 2024 Festival of Media Arts.

Chris Leupold, the Isabella Cannon Professor of Leadership and professor of psychology, is collaborating with Elon Music Theatre to create a seven-session program to prepare students to participate in high-level leadership activities in preparation for Grand Night 2024.

Titled “Game On: How Sports Media Grew Up, Sold Out, and Got Personal with Billions of Fans,” Bockino’s book – published on April 1 – is the first comprehensive, general audience history of the sports media industry.

The Elon University senior and assistant professor of communication design, as well as Live Oak Communications, earned Gold Awards at the inaugural AEJMC Festival of Visual & Interactive Media contest. Additionally, Matt Newberry’s work was recently recognized in the Graphis New Talent Annual, which celebrates the top creative work from students across the globe.
