The research collaboration with Duke University’s Center for WaSH-AID, Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, and Triangle Environmental Health Initiative is being piloted on Elon’s campus through 2024.

The spring program in Los Angeles will provide a unique experience this year for the 17 Elon students participating.

Led by faculty members Israel Balderas and Jill Auditori, 11 Elon University students received a firsthand look at this year’s presidential primaries in South Carolina and New Hampshire as part of their interdisciplinary Study USA course, The Presidential Campaign Starts Here: The First Primaries.

Students complete an Elon undergraduate degree in 3.5 years and gain an opportunity for admission to the highly selective Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs within the School of Health Sciences.

The recent Elon graduate demonstrated a capacity to thrive while significantly contributing to campus life, holding leadership positions, and securing three internships.

Media outlets in China highlighted the Winter Term program led by faculty members Lin Zhao and Honglin Xiao and how the program contributed to cross-cultural understanding.

Elon faculty and staff brought children to Associate Professor of Psychology Sabrina Thurman’s PSY 2110 Early Childhood Development course to cap Winter Term.

Elon provides information regarding voter registration, absentee ballots, polling place locations, acceptable forms of photo ID to vote in North Carolina, and information on early voting.

First-year students are encouraged to apply to be a 2024-2027 Center for Engaged Learning Student Scholar.
