Privilege.  Identity.  Social Justice.  The journey begins with you.  Through interactive activities and focused discussions, participants will learn how their identities influence all they do and how to use this knowledge to become agents of change on campus and in our world. “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere!” This event is free for all students, faculty, and staff and is part of the New Student Orientation activities this week.

Orphaned at a young age, Nosipho Shangase found mentors and teachers at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, and she brings with her to Elon University this fall the leadership skills she developed at one of South Africa’s top schools.

Elon Jazz Ensemble Auditions will be held Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Open to all Elon students.

To celebrate Elon's history, the university is issuing a set of 25 commemorative cards, distributed weekly at College Coffee.

Interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)? Alamance Community College will be offering an EMT-Basic training course on Elon's campus this fall.

Two new residence halls opened for the first time Friday as members of the largest incoming class in Elon University history moved into their homes for the upcoming academic year.

Senior Danielle White has been selected to receive a scholarship from the international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.
