Elon hosts trade secrets law works-in-progress workshop

Featuring scholars from seven United States law schools, the Nov. 16 forum, which was planned to be the first in an ongoing series of works-in-progress workshops and conferences, supported the development of scholarship in an increasingly significant area of intellectual property law.
Elon Law Review Symposium on First Amendment Jurisprudence – Oct. 26

On Friday, October 26, 2012, beginning at 9 a.m., the Elon Law Review will present a symposium examining First Amendment issues resulting from the interplay between religion and government. The symposium, approved for 5.75 CLE credit hours, will take place at Elon University School of Law, 201 N. Greene St., Greensboro, N.C.

The 2012 Symposium of the Elon Law Review will examine, “Emerging Issues in First Amendment Jurisprudence: Interpreting the Relationship Between Religion and the State in the Modern Age." Proposals for participation in the October 26 symposium should be submitted by July 15.
