A group of Elon Law faculty, staff and students is sharing on a monthly basis what members are reading and watching as part of a desire to engage in important discussions on topics related to race and history. 

McCathern Painter L’20 and Megan Wilson-Bost L’20 also reached the quarterfinals of the 20th Annual Leroy R. Hassell, Sr. National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition hosted virtually by Regent University School of Law.

In Convocation remarks to Elon Law’s Class of 2022, Kimberly Bullock Gatling, one of North Carolina’s most prominent intellectual property attorneys, encouraged students to “try a little bit of everything” as they begin their legal education in an era of unprecedented global challenges.

Led by graduates from the Class of December 2019, the most recent volume of the Elon Law Review features articles and commentaries on topics that include the U.S. Supreme Court, assessments for measuring student learning in law school, and the politicization of the American judiciary.

With funding from AccessLex Institute, Elon Law will conduct research on new and emerging programs aimed at supporting students in the classroom and on the bar exam.
