The Elon Alumni Association needs your help identifying outstanding young alumni to join the Young Alumni Council, which works to strengthen the connections between recent graduates and the university.

Patrick Singleton '97, who represented Bermuda in the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympic Games, has been elected treasurer of the World Olympians Association, a partner of the International Olympic Committee.

Harry "Sid" Varney, a member of the Elon Sports Hall of Fame who coached the Fightin' Christian football team from 1953 to 1959, died Nov. 25 in Columbia, S.C. He was 83.
