From studying environmental science at Elon to shaping pesticide policy at the EPA, Gisele Nighswander ’17 is helping safeguard the health of both people and the planet.

Jessica Weickert is moving marketing beyond the screen by using sensory science to design immersive experiences that foster authenticity and a true sense of belonging.

A professor’s encouragement helped Christian Seitz ’16 discover a passion for chemistry that ultimately led him to global vaccine research. Now working through the University of Chicago, Seitz studies viruses identified by the World Health Organization as potential pandemic threats in an effort to help prevent future global outbreaks.

The Elon graduate, an assistant producer at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, was honored for embodying her agency’s core values through teamwork, leadership and creative problem-solving. Through her work on prominent Apple campaigns and a team-first mindset, Young has rapidly set herself apart.

Mooney, a veteran motorsports executive and leadership consultant, joins President Connie Ledoux Book on “Elon Beyond the Bricks” to explore reinvention, reputation building and the moments that shaped his career.

The special bond between classmates William Rudd Jr. ’50 and James Robertson ’50 inspired Rudd’s son to make a $100,000 gift to the university.

The third annual event, held March 5 in Snow Family Grand Atrium, showcased student projects and faculty research that advance inclusive storytelling and community engagement.

More than 130 students networked with employers — including a strong contingent of Elon alumni — during the annual networking event in the School of Communications.
