Kerrii Brown Anderson ’79, former chief executive officer of Wendys International, shared lessons from her storied career as the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business’ annual Legends of Business speaker on March 4. Anderson encouraged the overflow crowd in LaRose Digital Theatre to seize opportunities, embrace change, give back to the community and cultivate excellent communication skills to succeed in today’s business environment.

Women’s basketball player Ali Ford named All-Conference, Freshman of the Year

Ali Ford of the Phoenix women’s basketball team was named the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year by both the Southern Conference Sports Media Association and the 11 head coaches. Ford became the second straight Elon player to receive the award, after Tiara Gause picked up the honor last season. Ford was also the only underclassman named to the coaches’ All-Southern Conference team.
