Hundreds of university publications, documents and images were made available late last fall to online visitors of the Digital Public Library of America.

In “The Civilizing Machine: A Cultural History of Mexican Railroads, 1876-1910,” Elon University Assistant Professor Michael Matthews shows how railroads shaped the way citizens of the young republic viewed industrialization, technology & modernization as they struggled to form their national identity.

The professor emeritus will lead efforts to preserve Elon University's history.

Professor Laura Roselle co-authored a book that explores the way world leaders and policy makers interact with each other, and with their citizens, through the narratives they share.

Announcing Belk Library's schedule for the holiday break

A partnership between the Elon University Belk Library and the Office of Alumni Engagement will make it possible for alumni to access a variety of library resources and services.

Belk Library will have extended hours during the exam period.

Katie Nash, archivist and special collections librarian, and Patrick Rudd, coordinator of access services and instruction, recently presented together at the Tri State Archivists Conference in Greenville, S.C.
