Five graduates of Elon University School of Law were among 16 attorneys selected for the North Carolina Bar Association's Leadership Academy, a program designed to "help young lawyers become more effective leaders in their communities." 

Ahmed Mohamed, Chris Tarpley and Tyrra Walker - members of Elon Law’s Class of 2019 - accepted distinguished work placements as part of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession 1L Summer Associate Program.

Melissa Duncan '06 L'09, Jennifer Gibert Mencarini, and Aisa Turman have assumed new titles and roles in the Office of Career & Student Development.

Several Elon Law students, administrators, faculty and friends packed food, produced scarves, and created Valentine’s Day cards for local seniors as part of the 2018 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service organized by The Volunteer Center of Greensboro.

In its 2018 edition of "The Best 169 Law Schools,” the influential college guide also listed Elon Law among the top 10 schools in terms of the number of hours that students report studying outside of class and the level of ambition among students at the school.
