As the newly appointed president of Limelight Records, Spencer hopes to give back to the organization that drew her to Elon University.

The Broadcast Education Association, the premier international academic media organization, released its fourth annual rankings recognizing schools with consistent student success in its Festival of Media Arts. Elon University’s School of Communications once again secured a top-10 placement.

With projects rooted in storytelling, sustainability and community, two communication design majors earned honors in the 2025 Graphis New Talent Annual, showcasing their creativity on a global stage.

The NBC 12 News anchor will receive a Doing the Most Good Award for her contributions in the Richmond, Virginia, community.

The sport management and strategic communications double major earned the top prize in the Creative AI + Data Image Contest at Elon’s Datafest 2025 with her entry, “Where Acorns Become Oaks.”
