The assistant professor of sport and event management played a prominent role in the November conference, promoting activities and discussions designed to advance the organization’s social justice initiatives.

During the fall semester, students in Associate Professor Lee Bush’s “Strategic Campaigns” course explored how the regional restaurant chain could increase brand engagement with members of Generation Y and Z.

Students in Assistant Professor Shaina Dabbs’ “Event Management” class raised more than $2,300 to support the Boys & Girls Club of Alamance County and Excel Christian Academy of Burlington.

Organized by the school’s diversity committee, the end-of-semester unity event brought together students, faculty and staff for an afternoon of fun before finals week begins.
