Tickets are now on sale for a talk by one of the 21st century's most influential thought leaders whose critically acclaimed book, "The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution," will serve as the theme of his remarks at Elon University.

The assistant professor of sport and event management traveled to New Orleans in late February to present at the Sport and Recreation Law Association’s annual conference.

Nearly two-dozen Elon University students traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, for a March 15 conference to hear from marketing professionals and industry leaders. 

The College Media Association honored the student news organization with an Apple Award, and a School of Communications staff member and alumnus offered presentations at the convention.

Winners will know if their work will enter the national contest in April.

Supported by Elon University’s Fund for Excellence, “Re: view” is a collaborative project incorporating students, faculty and staff from the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Communications.

Senior journalism major Gary Grumbach and Kate Murphy '15 were both honored in the same multimedia competition.
