Elon University’s Premier Sport & Event Society brought together professionals from various aspects of the communications, event planning and sports industries on April 7 to share their insight and advice.

Zora Stephenson '15 will work alongside professional journalists to cover the National Association of Black Journalists’ convention held Aug. 5-9, 2015, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

The assistant professor of sport and event management led three separate presentations relating to her work with a new Wiley book series, titled “New Directions for Student Leadership."

Brian Hopkins ’98, Nathan Rode ’07, Jocelyn Fern ’07 and Joseph DiRienzo ’14 don’t play on the diamond, but the Elon University alumni have found worthwhile careers in baseball.
