The freelance writer led an on-campus presentation March 12, highlighting her work abroad that focuses on topics relating to refugees and the Middle East – specifically Lebanon and Jordan. The School of Communications and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting co-sponsored the lecture.

Students in the spring semester course "Disarming Injustice: Nonviolence and the Civil Rights Movement" traveled with their professor to Alabama as they remembered a violent episode in American history.

Seventy-four high school seniors interested in studying communications visited Elon University during Fellows Weekend from March 6-7, 2015. Following a competitive selection progress, 25 students will be named 2015 Communications Fellows.
