Sixteen Elon University students, including one soon-to-be Internet sensation, took part in Hollywood’s night to celebrate cinematic achievements in the film industry.

During his campus visit in January, Ken Haines, a 34-year veteran with Raycom Sports, provided Elon University students with an inside look into the ever-changing landscape of sports broadcasting. 

Elon University’s student-run strategic communications agency was named a top award winner at the Triangle Advertising Federation’s 2015 American Advertising Awards Gala. The event was held Feb. 20 in downtown Raleigh.

Kenn Gaither, an associate professor and associate dean in the School of Communications, writes in regional newspapers about his experience growing up the son of a civil rights activist and what a recent South Carolina courtroom decision says about today's struggles for social justice.

The volume discusses the interconnections between international public relations and public diplomacy. The School of Communications professor’s chapter examines diaspora relations.

Simone Jackson ’16 will intern this summer with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world. This is the second consecutive year a School of Communications student has received an internship with the New York City-based agency.
