The first-year summer experience program offered by the Office of New Student and Transition Programs familiarizes incoming students with Elon's campus and helps them develop outdoor and team-building skills before classes begin in the fall.

Imagining the Internet and Pew Research surveyed world technology experts about the challenges to the Internet's future development between now and 2025.

A team of students, faculty, and alumni from Elon University's School of Communications spent a week in June in Ekaterinburg, Russia, covering the 2014 International Collegiate Programming Contest in video, photo, social media and text. 

Contributions by the Elon assistant professor of communications are  part of a 600-article volume.

Five students from the Department of Sport and Event Management have recruited volunteers, handled sales receipts and coordinated inventory this month at a concessions tent in Pinehurst, North Carolina, for the 2014 men’s and women’s U.S. Open Championships.

Several journalism students pace Elon in the prestigious national contest.

Rising senior Amber Schmiesing, whose work with film was inspired by her experience in the "Elon in L.A." program, won the Dance Camera West film festival's Emerging Artist Second Runner Up Award for an original dance film. 

A video created and marketed by Elon University's student-run Limelight Records recording label features the music of Kid Cas, the stage name for Brandon Williams '14.

Professors Vanessa Bravo, Julie Lellis, Barbara Miller and Qian Xu all participated in the conference.
