The Elon community is invited to celebrate and learn more about the experiences, histories and heritage of Native and Indigenous communities.

Lucia Lozana Robledo '21 and Mirella Cisneros Perez '19 are helping to create a significant impact in North Carolina for the next generation of leaders.

From Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, Elon University will have many events and activities to celebrate the histories of the Latinx/Hispanic communities.

This year’s theme, “The Many Faces of Elon: On Campus & Beyond,” reflects the university’s commitment to broadening students' perspectives and enhancing global awareness through local, national, and international lenses.

Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley emailed highlights on Sept. 8 to help students stay informed and prepare for the week ahead.

Nearly 60 participants from 16 institutions gathered at Elon to share best practices for supporting the development of relationships that lead to success and professional development.

Nineteen Latinx/Hispanic seniors and their families came together on May 23 to celebrate their roots and thank those who supported them at Elon as part of “¡Celebremos!: Graduates Take Flight.” 

Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is celebrated in the United States in May. This celebration focuses on achievements and contributions of people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent in the United States.

At its yearly celebration on Wednesday, May 1, the Division of Student Life recognized members for their outstanding leadership, valuable contributions, and notable successes.

Outstanding Elon students were recognized for their achievements and contributions to Elon during a ceremony on Saturday, April 20.
