A new resource room in Moseley Center will serve as a place for the Elon community to engage intellectually and socially around gender and LGBTQIA topics.

Elon Hillel asked students on Tuesday to take a stand when they hear or see others make intolerant or hateful comments that disregard the cherished values of Elon University’s inclusive community.  

The award includes a film set and $1,200 programming stipend to be used to provide scholarly presentations and exhibit four documentaries with new footage illustrating the history of civil rights in America.

Gilman Scholar Jordan Joshua will present the documentary "The Door of No Return" and a discussion on the importance of study abroad for minority students on Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in Oaks Commons 207.
