Amy Overman, associate professor of psychology, is awarded Elon University’s first grant from the National Institutes of Health to study age-related changes in memory. 

The associate professor of music worked with K-12 general music teachers and band and choral directors in LaFourche Parish, Louisiana.

The Elon alumnus will oversee 15,000 students and more than 70 undergraduate/graduate degree programs as the university’s inaugural vice chancellor for academic affairs and provost.

The professor of music had an article published in the professional trumpet journal.

The one-hour school receptions allowed students to introduce parents to faculty mentors, laugh with friends and celebrate personal transformation.

Eight graduates in Elon University’s Class of 2016 have accepted positions with Teach for America and will begin their placements this fall. 

Associate Professors of Statistics Laura Taylor and Kirsten Doehler, Assistant Professor of Mathematics Kristen Mazur and Lecturer of Statistics Ryne VanKrevelen viewed the conference from an on-campus classroom.

More than 100 Glen Raven Inc. customers from across the country and Mexico visited the Environmental Center at Loy Farm for a May 12 banquet as part of a summit that highlights innovation. 

The associate professor of psychology, faculty member in the neuroscience program and associate director of Elon's Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, presented research at the 16th Cognitive Aging Conference held April 14-17, 2016 in Atlanta.

The professor of music had two articles published in the professional saxophone journal.
