The university’s two largest construction projects now underway have made significant progress during the summer, as crews have tackled smaller-scale construction projects as well.

The northbound lane will be closed from Phoenix Drive to University Drive beginning June 27.

A busy summer for construction crews means Elon University will be dedicating new residential, dining, academic and athletics facilities within the next several months. 

Six Elon staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 25 awards program during the annual staff appreciation celebration in Alumni Gymnasium.

Elon University saw seven staff members retire this academic year.
