A Dec. 11 program in the Sacred Space of the Numen Lumen Pavilion marked the end of academic studies and the formal start of clinical education for members of the PA program's Class of 2017.

Dr. Elizabeth Corwin who graduated from the Elon DPTE program in 2014 presented her research at the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science 25th Annual Meeting held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. 

 

The assistant professor of Physical Therapy Education's presentation was called "Effects of Different Perturbation Levels During Fall Risk Assessment for Older Adults at Higher Fall Risk." 

Twenty-five candidates in Elon University's Master of Education program received degrees Saturday in a ceremony highlighted by a Commencement address that challenged teachers to unshackle their students' minds and inspire them to pursue their dreams.

The graduate program, which features a unique partnership between the university's business and communications schools, welcomes 18 students in its inaugural class.

For the last two weeks Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy first and third-year students worked with Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy Education Paula DiBiasio to help local children get active.
