Three Elon graduate students have launched a blog to share their experiences as they progress through Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Elon University launched its one-year, full-time Interactive Media master's program Aug. 3 and welcomed 37 students into the inaugural class. Coursework began Aug. 4 with a three-week Digital Media Workshop before the start of the fall semester.

In one room on Tuesday, first and second graders place animals on a magnetic storyboard. Down the hall, older students listen to a tale of wombats. Children enrolled in a School of Education program are attending classes on campus this month for an enrichment academy that serves as an internship setting for current and future special needs teachers in Elon’s graduate education program.

DPT candidates on Tuesday said their farewells as they honored the lives of 10 men and women who donated their bodies to science and who, for the past seven months, served as “teachers” to Class of 2011 students studying anatomy as part of their doctoral program at Elon University.

Through op-ed columns and television news appearances, Elon Law professors Scott Gaylord, Andrew Haile, and Alan Woodlief recently provided analysis and evaluation of North Carolina's system for judicial elections, in response to a June 8 United States Supreme Court ruling in Caperton v. Massey Coal Co.

In the midst of their summer clerkships and employment with law firms in a number of cities across the country, members of the Class of 2010 at Elon Law are well on their way to becoming great lawyer-leaders, contributing to the legal profession and to the well being of their communities near and far.

Elon University leaders conferred degrees to MBA students in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business on May 22, 2009, during a Commencement ceremony in Whitley Auditorium attended by faculty, staff, family and friends.
