Bill Andrews, professor of physical therapy education, recently had two articles accepted for publication in peer-reviewed journals. 

Elon University had a strong presence at the conference, held May 19-23 in New Orleans, with 11 physician assistant students from the classes of 2019 and 2020 attending and four faculty members presenting.

At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 9, the Elon community honored 12 faculty members who are retiring this year.

The collaboration between the Student Professional Development Center, the School of Health Sciences and the Health Professions Advising Committee offered students the chance to participate in a key aspect of applying to schools in health professions.

Students from the ABSS Career and Technical Education Center learned about the role of biomechanics in understanding and improving human performance on April 11, 2018. Presentations and activities about balance, running, throwing, and jumping showcased biomechanics as an emerging science.

Students and faculty from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program helped organize and participated in this inaugural event. 

The Elon BrainCARE Research Institute will host its fifth annual symposium on Thursday, April 5.

Eleven faculty members, one recently retired faculty member, multiple adjunct faculty members  20 students were among the more than 17,000 attendees at the conference.
