As part of an effort to improve the medical education system in Iraq, the physicians visited Elon's Francis Center on Aug. 21.

On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Doctor of Physical Therapy students said farewell to their non-living anatomy teachers, as they honored the lives of 13 men and women who donated their bodies to science.

Graduate students in Elon's Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies programs worked July 11 with a nationally recognized artist to paint muscles, tissue and bone onto classmates in a hands-on approach to anatomy.

The Department of Physical Therapy Education and Department of Computing Sciences were represented at the 2014 Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society Conference in Newark, Delaware, from June 24-27, 2014.

Two professors and a staff member were recognized June 19, 2014, during the school's annual awards luncheon.

Charity Johansson and Sabrina Fogleman have been selected to present an educational workshop to physical therapy providers on LGBTQ-friendly healthcare in October 2014 at the American Physical Therapy Association's Educational Leadership Conference. 

Kristen Riffanacht received the American College of Sports Medicine Biomechanics Interest Group Student Research Award.

The Department of Physical Therapy Education was represented at the 2014 American College of Sports Medicine held in Orlando, Fla. May 27-31.
