Elon Hillel is hosting a Passover Seder on Monday evening, April 3, the first night of Passover.  The Seder begins at 5:30pm in McKinnon.   

An annual Elon University tradition brought thousands of students, families and friends to the heart of campus on Dec. 1, 2014, to celebrate the holiday season with song, cider and Santa Claus.

A community event organized by students in the fall semester “Garden Studio” course featured pumpkin carving, fall-themed baked goods, music and more in the Elon Community Garden.

Students in a fall semester Garden Studio course are leading an event that is free and open to the community from 2:30-5:30 p.m. with fall-themed baked goods, musical entertainment and pumpkin carving for children.

Susannah Heschel (Dartmouth College) will speak about the friendship and shared vision of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and her father, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, at 7:30 p.m. in the Numen Lumen Pavilion.

INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine has recognized Elon with a 2014 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award, an accolade that reflects ongoing university efforts to celebrate and support students, staff, faculty and alumni of all backgrounds and beliefs.

An ordained rabbi and founder of an award-winning seasonal and organic kosher catering company in San Francisco, Joseph comes to Elon University with deep experience in community building and fostering multi-faith leadership.

An effort to showcase both the university's Community Garden and heirloom plants grown by Elon students proved popular, as did delicious strawberry treats.

The final Friday of classes this spring features an opportunity for members of the campus community to enjoy strawberry shortcake, ice cream and other light refreshments at the Elon Community Garden.

A psychology major recently awarded a Fulbright to teach English in South Korea researched the emerging theory of authentic leadership by surveying two very different groups of people.
