A team visit to the Central American nation last spring inspired "Costa Rica Through the Lens: Reflections From Elon University Women’s Soccer" with contributions from players, coaches and staff.

During Elon University’s Thanksgiving break, members of the baseball team traveled to the Dominican Republic to study the Caribbean nation’s culture, economy and affinity for baseball as part of the “Globalization in Contemporary Sport” class.

Seven professors and instructors from across campus have been selected 2015-16 Leadership Faculty Scholars. 

In its annual ranking, the Institute of International Education recognizes Elon for sending more students abroad than any other master’s-level university in the United States.

The campus community remembered the victims of a terrorist attack in Paris in a Sunday vigil in which university leaders challenged Elon students to make a difference in the world by committing to lives of compassion and kindness.

The Global Ambassadors-hosted event allowed interested students to discover available semester Study Abroad and Study USA programs and to learn from program alumni.

While studying abroad in Prague last fall, Elon University senior Liam Hall co-wrote and co-directed “Tři Cíga,” an eight-minute short film gaining attention on the festival circuit, including the New Orleans Film Festival.
