From a panel discussion on international human rights law to a research
presentation on freedom of press in Sri Lanka, the inaugural Study
Abroad Forum held in the Moseley Center on Tuesday evening allowed
students and faculty who have traveled overseas to celebrate their
academic achievements.
Study Abroad Forum on Nov. 11 open to community

The inaugural Study Abroad Forum on Nov. 11 will celebrate academic achievements of
students, alumni, faculty and staff, resulting from study abroad in a
variety of contexts including winter term, semester programs,
international service learning and internships. The campus community is invited to attend from 4:15-7:15 p.m. in the Moseley Center.
Deadline nears for applications to study in Italy this spring

Less than a week remains for students to apply to a spring 2009 program in Florence, home of Elon University's newest international "centre" and birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to participate through the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies. The deadline is Sept. 22.

Elon junior writes chapter for guidebook

Elon junior Ashley Dischinger, however, will soon have much more to
show for her recent Winter Term program in South Africa – a chapter in a
forthcoming guidebook on study abroad destinations.
Elon students win national study abroad scholarships

scholarships through the nonprofit Institute of International Education
to help fund their upcoming study abroad programs.
