A campus canned food drive on May 29, 2015, collected 2,274 pounds of food to benefit Allied Churches of Alamance County.

Four graduating seniors will work with Alamance County health organizations through a new community initiative that encourages students to pursue a year of service following their collegiate studies.

Dozens of Elon University students, staff and faculty volunteered at a halfday program on April 24, 2015, that welcomed 375 athletes to campus for competition in the Jerry and Jeanne Robertson Track and Field Complex.

S.H.A.R.E. enables students involved with Elon Volunteers! to play with shelter animals every weekend at the Burlington Pet Adoption Center. A new segment of the program, Animal Protection Alliance, also allows students to learn more about animal issues and awareness. 

The Allied Churches of Alamance County has been collecting food donations through their "Stamp Out Hunger" campaign. They need help unloading these donations on May 11th.

Elon's representatives presented information in April at the University of Georgia about their partnerships with the Loy Farm and Alamance County community agencies. 

The Department of Sport and Event Management's spring "Event Management" class will host a dinner on April 27 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. benefitting Communications Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for guests and can be purchased at the event or online at signanddineelon.eventbrite.com
