Kernodle Center Volunteer Opportunities

Be one of 30 volunteers at The Graham Recreation's Halloween Carnival on October 30th.

Assist in face painting, set-up, greeting people and entertainment at the Community Day hosted by MorningStar Baptist Church, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Fill the need for volunteers at their Green Gala event this Saturday, Oct. 5. Assist with conferences, tours and community partners while learning about sustainable initiatives in the Burlington area.

The campus community is invited to collect food donations to join Alamance County's "Feeding the Hungry" effort.

Sixteen freshmen worked recently on a campus farm, a Habitat building site and with a local conservation center as part of a summer experience through the university's Kernodle Center.

High school scholars in the university's college access and success program receive a hands-on lesson on the history and complexity of wheat cultivation.

A program through the Kernodle Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement allowed students to work with a local children's center and assist an HIV/AIDS support group.

The Burlington Downtown Corporation needs about 4-5 volunteers on Friday, May 24, 2013 from both 12 - 2 pm and 9 - 11 pm for set-up and tear-down.

The McKinney Vento Family Day is looking for 10 volunteers at noon on May 18 in Burlington City Park.
