Elon Law Professor Margaret Kantlehner authored the article, "Before Elvis Leaves the Building: Drafting a Will for a Client of Diminishing Capacity," for the Summer 2012 edition of the North Carolina State Bar Journal.

An article written by Elon Law alumna Anna Arnopolsky was published in the June 2012 edition of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Intellectual Property Section newsletter. The article, "Can ‘Tell-Alls' Tell All?", provides a briefing of right to publicity laws in North Carolina and across the nation.

The Elon Law preceptor program provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with members of the legal community. The program pairs first-year law students with attorneys who volunteer to serve as mentors and coaches.

The Elon Law Review recently published volume three, issue two, featuring scholarly articles written about transparency, secrecy and the Internet, and volume four, issue one, featuring articles and essays on various legal topics.

For the second consecutive year, Leary Davis, founding dean and professor of law emeritus at Elon Law, spoke at the Santa Clara University School of Law Leadership Roundtable.

United States District Court Judge Catherine Eagles was honored by the Elon Law Women’s Law Association (WLA) for her accomplishments in the legal community at the WLA's fifth annual Women in the Profession Dinner.
