Elon University School of Law and the Elon Law Review are major sponsors of a jointly presented conference scheduled for Nov. 4 in Raleigh, NC, titled, "A Radical Notion of Democracy: Law, Race, and Albion Tourgée, 1865-1905."

The following law school student organizations invite members of the Elon Law community to an Action Panel on Marriage Equality: Elon Law Democrats, American Civil Liberties Union student chapter, American Constitution Society, and OutLaw.

Kate McLeod, associate dean for library and information services and associate professor of law, and Patricia Perkins, assistant professor of legal writing, have launched a series of videos designed to help students learn how to draft proper citations to legal authorities.

Members of the Elon Law community are invited to attend this live-stream conference of Attorney General Eric Holder, recognizing the public service efforts of law students across the country, from 2 to 3:30 pm in room 105.

On Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, Elon University School of Law and the Elon Law Review will present a symposium to discuss criminal law issues emerging in the decade since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

The Elon Law Sports & Entertainment Law Society, together with Elon Law Career Services, invites you to the annual Sports & Entertainment Law Panel Presentation. The forum will take place Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 from 5 to 6 pm in Classroom 207.
