The conference, hosted by the Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs.

Sara Machi ’18 is among the recipients of the Lumen Prize, which provides selected students with a $15,000 scholarship and celebrates their academic and creative accomplishments. 

A Silicon Valley pioneer and investor, Mitch Kapor was presented with the medal at an April 12 ceremony at the Koury Business Center. 

The Human Resource Management Strategy and Consulting class partnered with several nonprofit businesses in the area to improve and expand their human resource capacities.
