Love School of Business

Business Fellows in the Love School of Business recently undertook a service learning project for United Way of Alamance County.

Mary Gowan, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, has been named to The Business Journal of the Triad’s 2009 list of Women in Business, an annual award honoring the region’s most accomplished female leaders in education, law, medicine and industry.

David Noer, the Frank S. Holt Jr. Professor of Business Leadership in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, had his monthly column published April 26, 2009, by the News & Record in Greensboro, N.C.

Elon entrepreneurship students visited the law firm of Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC in Greensboro, N.C., on April 17. The students participated in discussions with attorneys representing a number of legal areas dealing with entrepreneurial ventures.

The best and brightest of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business were honored April 23 in an awards ceremony that highlighted the achievements of both students and faculty.

Excitement, energy, passion and purpose marked the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour’s visit to Elon University on April 14 when three of the nation’s top young entrepreneurs inspired students to think entrepreneurially and pursue their dreams.
