Marit Nelson will be performing her senior voice recital on Tuesday, May 13, at 6 p.m. in Whitley Auditorium.

Featuring the works of Franz Schubert and Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel.

Five Elon students competed at the National Association of Teachers of Singing Mid-Atlantic Region competition and conference on Saturday, April 5.

Composed by Associate Professor Stephen A. Futrell in the Department of Music, a “celebratory verse” that originally debuted as part of the university’s Ever Elon fundraising campaign was formally recognized this spring as a permanent addition to the institution’s alma mater.

Shimron joins three pianists for two-piano, eight-hand recital.

Shimron was invited to judge the advanced-level categories at three local piano contests for pre-collegiate students. 

Lianna Mills will be presenting her Junior flute recital on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:30 pm, in Yeager Recital Hall.

The live recording features the Elon University Camerata and Chorale with the auditioned choral ensembles from Williams High and Cedar Ridge High School.

Under the direction of Stephen A. Futrell, élan performs for a packed house at Jacksonville's historic Florida Theatre.
