For the seventh year in a row, Elon is ranked among the nation's top colleges and universities by The Princeton Review. The 2010 college guide, released July 28, ranks schools based on a survey of 122,000 students from across the nation.
Iraqi artist answers student questions from Baghdad

Students in a summer sociology course had an opportunity this week to learn about recovery efforts in Iraq by interacting directly with an artist living in Baghdad who answered questions from them in an online chat.
President Leo M. Lambert honored for support of experiential education

The National Society for Experiential Education has named Elon University President Leo M. Lambert the winner of an inaugural award for his contributions to experiential education. Lambert, one of 29 nominees for the honor, will receive the William M. Burke Presidential Award for Excellence in Experiential Education this fall at the society’s annual conference in Dallas.

Spacious plaza taking shape at Elon’s Academic Village

Construction workers were smoothing cement July 15 as they work to complete the new plaza that will grace the entrance to Elon's Academic Village. The plaza is scheduled for completion Aug. 10, and will be the new home for the university's weekly College Coffee gatherings.
Elon students earn honors at International Human Rights Law Moot Court Competition

Two Elon University students and a 2009 alum won awards last week for their performance in a moot court competition at the 3rd annual International Human Rights Law Summer Study in Vilnius, Lithuania, a program co-sponsored by the university’s Center for Public Affairs.
