Kim Shively, Susanne Shawyer, Kevin Otos and Fred Rubrek were among  presented scholarship on dramaturgy and acting technique at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education Annual Conference. 

The article by Wahl, professor of performing arts, and Artemis Preeshl, a visiting faculty member in the Department of Performing Arts last year, was published in the Voice and Speech Review.

Jared Goldsmith ’18 will be playing the role of Jared Kleinman in the tour of the Tony-winning musical, set to open on Sept. 25 in Denver, Colorado. 

The choreography "Gilded" by Kristen Brooks Sandler '13, who studied dance performance and choreography in the Department of Performing Arts, won Best Dance Award at Capital Fringe Festival in Washington D.C. 

 

The monthly magazine for theatregoers listed Elon as one of the top 10 most represented colleges on Broadway during the 2018–19 season.

Brandon Talley ’04 has been performing at Sight and Sound Theatres since 2004, and he has never looked back.

The movie industry might seem vast, but for Paige Hullett ’16 and John Henry Ward ’17 it has gotten a little bit smaller as they have both been cast in Karen Maine’s “ Yes, God, Yes.”

The department's winter show written by Christine Evans and directed by Kim Shively returns for spring term performances in Roberts Studio Theatre, Arts West.
